In 2021, MÜHLE introduced the first safety razor designed to meet the needs of all users, regardless of gender. This journey began in 1945.

Founding in 1945 - Otto Johannes Müller established the business after returning from the war. He created the first shaving brushes and crafted the MÜHLE signet.

New Generation in 1965 - Hans-Jürgen Müller took over the company, which had expanded to 40 employees. MÜHLE products were now being exported to 36 countries.

Expropriation in 1972 - Under pressure from the German Democratic Republic, Hans-Jürgen Müller sold the company, turning MÜHLE into a state-owned enterprise.

Taking Leave in 1987 - The business was rebranded, focusing solely on manufacturing brushes for the state. Hans-Jürgen Müller began his own brush-making venture.

New Beginning in 1990 - With the dawn of a new Europe, Hans-Jürgen Müller regained the family business, trading as Hans-Jürgen Müller KG, while retaining the MÜHLE signet.

Celebrating 50 Years in 1995 - MÜHLE faced challenges post-reunification but gradually won back customers and rehired former employees.

Boom in 2006 - The new Millenia brought expansion to a full range of wet shaving products, establishing the MÜHLE brand.
