In 2021, MÜHLE introduced the first safety razor designed with the needs of all users in mind, regardless of gender. This journey dates back to 1945.

Founding in 1945: Otto Johannes Müller established the business after returning from war. He created the initial shaving brushes and crafted the MÜHLE signet.

New Generation in 1965: Hans-Jürgen Müller took over the company, which had grown to 40 employees. MÜHLE started exporting its products to 36 countries.

Expropriation in 1972: Under pressure from the German Democratic Republic, Hans-Jürgen Müller sold the company, leaving MÜHLE as a state-owned enterprise.

Taking Leave in 1987: Following rebranding, the business focused on manufacturing brushes solely for the state. Hans-Jürgen Müller pursued his own career as a brush maker.

New Beginning in 1990: After the reunification of Europe, Hans-Jürgen Müller reclaimed the family business and operated as Hans-Jürgen Müller KG, retaining the MÜHLE signet.

Celebrating 50 Years in 1995: MÜHLE faced challenges post-reunification but gradually won over new customers and rehired former employees.

Boom in 2006: A new era began with an expanded range of wet shaving products. The MÜHLE brand gained prominence.
