In 2021, MÜHLE revolutionized the shaving industry by releasing the first safety razor designed to meet the needs of all users, regardless of gender. This journey traces back to 1945.

1945 - Founding Otto Johannes Müller established the business after returning from the war. He crafted the first shaving brushes and created the iconic MÜHLE signet.

1965 - New Generation Hans-Jürgen Müller took the helm of the company, which had expanded to 40 employees. MÜHLE products were being exported to 36 countries.

1972 - Expropriation Under pressure from the German Democratic Republic, Hans-Jürgen Müller was forced to sell the company, leading MÜHLE to become a state-owned enterprise.

1987 - Taking Leave Rebranded, the business focused solely on producing brushes for the state. Hans-Jürgen Müller pursued his passion as a self-employed brush maker.

1990 - New Beginning With the dawn of a new Europe, Hans-Jürgen Müller regained control of the family business, trading under the name Hans-Jürgen Müller KG, while retaining the MÜHLE signet.

1995 - Celebrating 50 Years After overcoming post-reunification struggles, MÜHLE gradually attracted new customers and rehired former employees.

2006 - Boom As the new millennium began, MÜHLE expanded its range to encompass a full line of wet shaving products, solidifying the brand's prominence.
