With the dawn of a new Europe in 1990, Hans-Jürgen Müller regained control of the family business and traded as Hans-Jürgen Müller KG, with the MÜHLE signet still in place.

Despite facing challenges after reunification in 1995, MÜHLE gradually gained new customers and rehired former employees. By 2006, the company experienced a boom and expanded its offering to include a full range of wet shaving goods, establishing the MÜHLE brand as a leader in the industry.
