In 2021, MÜHLE introduced the first safety razor designed to cater to all users, regardless of gender. This journey traces back to 1945.

Founding in 1945 Otto Johannes Müller established the business after returning from war. He produced the initial shaving brushes and created the MÜHLE signet.

New Generation in 1965 Hans-Jürgen Müller took the reins of the company, which had expanded to 40 employees. MÜHLE started exporting products to 36 countries.

Expropriation in 1972 Under pressure from the German Democratic Republic, Hans-Jürgen Müller sold the company, turning MÜHLE into a state-owned enterprise.

Taking Leave in 1987 After rebranding, the business exclusively made brushes for the state, with Hans-Jürgen Müller becoming an independent brush maker.

New Beginning in 1990 With the dawn of a new Europe, Hans-Jürgen Müller reclaimed the family business, trading as Hans-Jürgen Müller KG while retaining the MÜHLE signet.

Celebrating 50 Years in 1995 MÜHLE faced challenges post-reunification but gradually won new customers and rehired former employees.

Boom in 2006 With the new millennium came an expanded range of wet shaving products, solidifying the MÜHLE brand's position in the market.
