In 2021, MÜHLE introduced the first safety razor designed to meet the needs of all users, regardless of gender. This journey traces back to 1945.

1945 - Founding

After returning from the war, Otto Johannes Müller established the business. He created the first shaving brushes and crafted the MÜHLE signet.

1965 - New Generation

Hans-Jürgen Müller took over the company, which had expanded to 40 employees and was exporting products to 36 countries.

1972 - Expropriation

Under pressure from the German Democratic Republic, Hans-Jürgen Müller sold the company, turning MÜHLE into a state-owned enterprise.

1987 - Taking Leave

The business underwent rebranding and focused solely on producing brushes for the state, while Hans-Jürgen Müller pursued independent brush making.

1990 - New Beginning

With the evolution of a new Europe, Hans-Jürgen Müller regained the family business and operated under Hans-Jürgen Müller KG, preserving the MÜHLE signet.

1995 - Celebrating 50 Years

Following the challenges post-reunification, MÜHLE gradually regained customers and rehired former employees.

2006 - Boom

The dawn of the new millennium saw an expansion of the wet shaving product range, cementing the MÜHLE brand's presence.

How to use:

1. Unscrew the safety razor into three parts and place the blade over pins before reassembling.
2. Apply shaving cream or soap to the beard hair.
3. Hold the razor at a 30° angle to the skin and use short, downward strokes to remove hair.
4. Shave in the direction of hair growth, reapply cream, and shave across the grain.
