In the year 2021, MÜHLE introduced the first safety razor designed with the needs of all users in mind, regardless of gender. This journey began back in 1945.

1945 - Founding Otto Johannes Müller established the business after returning from the war. He crafted the initial shaving brushes and created the MÜHLE signet.

1965 - New Generation Hans-Jürgen Müller took over the company, now employing 40 people. MÜHLE began exporting products to 36 countries.

1972 - Expropriation Under pressure from the German Democratic Republic, Hans-Jürgen Müller sold the business, making MÜHLE a state-owned enterprise.

1987 - Taking Leave Following a rebranding, the company focused solely on manufacturing brushes for the state. Hans-Jürgen Müller became an independent brush maker.

1990 - New Beginning With the formation of a new Europe, Hans-Jürgen Müller regained control of the family business, now operating as Hans-Jürgen Müller KG with the MÜHLE signet intact.

1995 - Celebrating 50 Years After enduring challenges post-reunification, MÜHLE gradually built a new customer base and rehired former employees.

2006 - Boom As the new Millennium dawned, the product line expanded to include a full range of wet shaving essentials. The MÜHLE brand gained prominence.
